Full Moon in Taurus: Coming Home to Your Worth

As evenings draw in and the clocks turn back, this Full Moon in Taurus (this Monday, 26 October 2026, 4.12 am UK time) invites us to slow down, reconnect with our senses, and remember what truly nourishes us.
In astrology, Taurus brings us back to the simple experience of being in a body: feeling the earth beneath our feet, enjoying a nourishing meal, receiving a caring touch or settling beneath a cosy blanket. Opposite the Sun in Scorpio, this Full Moon invites us to explore what lies beneath the surface while staying connected to the steady support of everyday life.
Its medicine may be this: you don't have to earn your right to rest, receive care, or feel good in your own skin.
Meeting what feels tender
The pattern surrounding this Full Moon can be read as a spotlight on self-worth, security and how we protect ourselves. Old insecurities may feel more noticeable: the fear of not being enough, the need to keep everyone happy, or the belief that we must stay useful to be valued.
If any of this resonates, approach it with curiosity. Where are you holding on tightly? What are you afraid might happen if you soften? Have you been overlooking your own needs to maintain harmony?
There is no need to force an answer or turn every feeling into something to fix. Sometimes the kindest response is to acknowledge, “This feels tender, and I can give myself a little more care.”
Revisiting what you love
With Venus moving retrograde, this is also a symbolic invitation to revisit what brings pleasure, connection and meaning into our lives. Perhaps something you once loved has slipped quietly out of your week. Perhaps your priorities have changed, but your commitments haven't.
Investing in yourself might mean protecting an evening for rest, returning to a practice you miss, spending time in nature, or asking for help and receiving support.
Ask yourself: Does the way I spend my time reflect what I truly value, including myself?
Our worth does not rise and fall with our productivity, appearance or ability to care for others. Making room for our own nourishment is one way of remembering that.
Let the body set the pace
When life feels intense, it is easy to live from the neck upwards: thinking, planning and trying to understand everything. Taurus invites us to notice what is here through our senses.
Feel the warmth of your tea. Listen to the rain. Notice the texture of a blanket and the support beneath you. If it feels comfortable, allow your jaw to soften, and let your breathing find its own unhurried rhythm.
In yoga, embodying our essence can begin with listening honestly to how we are. Some days we welcome movement; on others, we need stillness, warmth and support. There is wisdom in both.
Long-held tension rarely responds well to being hurried. We can offer ourselves space without demanding a release. Rest can be enough in itself.
Space to soften at Serenity Space
This week and into November, our quieter practices and nurturing gatherings offer opportunities to explore that invitation in community.
My new Yin Yoga Nidra on Mondays, 7.45–8.45 pm, combines gentle, sustained postures with guided yogic rest. Drawing on what Yoga calls the koshas (the layers of our experience), we make space to attend to the physical body, breath, thoughts, emotions, and our deeper sense of connection. You are welcome exactly as you are, with nothing to achieve.
If you missed Saturday’s beautiful Full Moon Ceremony, Thimela’s Rest and Reset Restorative Sound offers another chance to pause, feel supported, and settle into stillness on Tuesday at 7.45 pm.
You can also join Claire Chaitanya’s Restorative Yin on Wednesdays at 7.45 pm, Amanda’s Yin Yoga and Myofascial Release on Thursdays from 7.15 pm, or ease towards the week ahead with Yin Sundays at 5.30 pm.
For a nurturing afternoon together, join Sue Yen Wan’s Bareface Yoga on Sunday 1st November, 2–4 pm. This wonderful, informal self-care gathering offers space to soften facial tension, reconnect with yourself, and care for yourself with kindness. It is a lovely expression of this Full Moon’s invitation to appreciate our bodies and make room for simple pleasures.
If you feel drawn to deepen your relationship with self-care, Reiki Master Leo Maria Holmes’ Reiki Level One training on Sunday 15 and Monday 16 November offers a gentle next step. This two-day introduction lays the foundations of Reiki, including learning a hands-on practice for yourself. Making time for learning and personal exploration can be a meaningful way to honour your worth.
Whether you choose an evening of rest, an afternoon of connection, or a new learning journey, start by listening to what feels nourishing for you.
Let it be time to receive.
A moment for reflection
Over the coming days, you might sit quietly with these questions:
Where am I asking myself to prove my worth?
What simple pleasures help me feel present and connected?
What am I ready to loosen my grip on?
What would change if I treated rest as a need I could honour?
As autumn deepens, may we give ourselves permission to enjoy being here, in a body, in community, and in the small moments that make life feel rich.
You are worthy of receiving all the love, kindness, and self-care before anything else gets done.
With warmth,
Patricia and the Serenity Space team
