The Harvest Moon in Aries: Coming Back to Yourself

As summer gives way to autumn, the Harvest Moon invites us to pause and notice what the past season has brought into our lives. What has grown? What are we grateful for? And what are we ready to let go of?
This Full Moon arrives in Aries on Saturday 26 September, bringing our relationship with ourselves into focus. The Sun in Libra draws our attention to connection and compromise; the Aries Moon asks whether we have made enough room for our own needs within those relationships.
You may feel a stronger urge to speak honestly, make a change or reclaim time for yourself. You may also feel tender or uncertain. No need to force a breakthrough. A quiet moment of recognition can be enough:
I know what I need, and I can begin to honour it.
Let your feelings inform you, then give yourself space
Relationships may feel especially charged this week. A wish for closeness and reassurance can sit alongside a need for freedom or a fresh start. If something touches a nerve, pause before deciding what it means. Take a breath, move your body, and return to the conversation when you can say what you feel and what you need.
This Moon also brings a sense of possibility. A different perspective, an honest conversation or a new idea could help you see a familiar situation more clearly. The invitation is to be still, trust, listen to that insight, and give it a practical shape. What is one small choice that would help you feel more like yourself?
Try asking:
Where have I said yes when I meant no?
What have I learned about what helps me feel well?
What am I grateful for from the past six months?
What is one gentle step I can take next?
Bring the insight into your body
At Serenity Space, we believe wellbeing is something we practise, one choice at a time. Yoga can offer room to breathe and notice what is happening within you. Pilates can help you reconnect with your strength and steadiness. A massage or other treatment can give you time to rest and receive care, especially when life has asked a great deal of you.
And sometimes stepping away from your usual routine, whether for a class, a treatment or a retreat, gives you the space to hear yourself again. You do not have to arrive feeling calm or clear. Come as you are and choose what would support you today.
On Saturday, Thimela Garcia will hold a Full Moon in Aries Ceremony: Release • Reclaim • Reset at Serenity Space. From 4:00–6:00 pm, she will guide an afternoon of ceremonial cacao, breathwork, meditation and a releasing ritual, followed by a gong and crystal singing bowl sound bath. We will be together as the Moon reaches fullness at approximately 5:49 pm: a lovely moment to pause, soften and set an intention for the season ahead.
This Harvest Moon, perhaps the most powerful question is also the simplest:
What would it feel like to care for yourself as thoughtfully as you care for others?
We would love to welcome you to Serenity Space, whether you join Thimela’s ceremony, step onto a mat, book a treatment or simply take your first quiet breath towards a new rhythm.
Full Moon Tidings,
With Love,
Patricia & The Serenity Space Team x
