Pose of the week - Side Plank (Vasisthasana)

This asana focuses on aligning the chakras and allowing the fifth and sixth chakras to open (Third Eye and Throat).

You can feel the prank energy moving upwards on the inhale and on the exhale we send the asana downwards as it strengthens our Muladhara (root) and solidifies you to the earth.

The benefits of this Asana:

- Increases core strength

- Strengthens arms and wrists

- Strengthens legs

- Improves balance

- Improves concentration

This is sometimes a tough pose to practice but think of the wonderful benefits and with practice it will become easier.
